Tim West is the founder of Green Mountain IT Solutions. Tim is a seasoned professional with over a decade of IT experience. Before founding GMITS, Tim served as a small business specialist for another local Vermont IT company. He has also worked as a contractor on projects for national brands such as CVS Pharmacy and Morgan Stanley.
Tim’s educational background includes studies at Vermont Technical College and Colby College. He is experienced in a variety of technologies, especially Windows administration, Microsoft 365, and small and medium business (SMB) networking.
On the weekend, you can find Tim listening to his favorite music, fishing on Lake Champlain, rooting for his beloved Red Sox, or just spending some quality time at home with his wife Madison, daughter Lucy, and two cats, William and Meow Meow.
Nick Hall is our Lead Technician at Green Mountain IT Solutions and has two years of professional IT experience. Nick grew up in Essex, Vermont, and is a graduate of Champlain College with a degree in Computer Networking & Cybersecurity.
Nick has a variety of technical skills, including Windows systems administration, network configuration, and general troubleshooting.
Outside of work, Nick likes to spend time with his siblings and has one dog and three cats. He also enjoys watching movies and going for walks outdoors.
Laurel is our Marketing and Office Assistant and is currently a student at UVM. She is pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and an expected graduation date of May 2026.
Known for her attention to detail and proactive mindset, Laurel has a passion for supporting company growth and engagement. She is driven by a desire to create meaningful impact through efficiency, creativity, and a strong commitment to excellence.
Outside of work, you can find Laurel going to the gym, reading, shopping, or spending time with friends and family.
