New Veterinary Venture Partners with Green Mountain IT for Complete IT Buildout

Featured

Opening a new location, branch, or an entirely new business isn’t easy! During a site opening, the last thing most business owners want to do it worry about their IT. Read how a new veterinary practice worked with Green Mountain IT take tech off their to-do list.

Overview

It’s a weekday morning, and the husband-and-wife team who will soon be opening a new veterinary practice in South Burlington, Vermont are sitting in my office.

“We know nothing about IT,” they said. “Nothing.”

“That’s OK,” I replied. “You’ve come to the right place.”

Core Requirements

While every business’s IT systems are different, most have a set of similar core needs, including:

  • Internet connectivity
  • Computers
  • Phones
  • Email
  • Internal networking (LAN, wired, WiFi)
  • Printers and related devices
  • Tablets and mobile devices
  • Industry-specific tools and software
  • And last but not least, a trusted IT partner to bring it all together and provide ongoing support

One-Stop Shopping with Green Mountain IT Makes It Easy

We’ve handled our fair share of new builds, site moves, and branch expansions at Green Mountain IT—all of which inevitably keep stakeholders extremely busy. Fortunately, our close, ongoing partnerships with clients make us feel more like an extension of their in-house teams than an outside vendor. This lets us understand our clients’ requirements deeply. We can execute projects quickly and easily, without a bunch of back-and-forth. In other words, a huge part of our value is taking work off our clients’ plates and bringing them peace of mind.

Shortly after our initial meeting, I presented a proposal to our client. “Very simply,” I began, “here are the things we can take off your plate.” I then reviewed the list above, including computer sourcing, a phone system, networking, printers, and even sourcing an Internet Service Provider.
